Gerald Prince Miller
Chief Community & Strategic Partnerships Officer (CCSPO)
Gerald Prince Miller is an author, cultural historian, and social justice advocate whose life reflects resilience, transformation, and purpose. Raised in South Jamaica, Queens, during one of New York City’s most turbulent eras, he grew up amid systemic racism, poverty, and police violence that deeply shaped his outlook. A tragic encounter with injustice inspired his lifelong dedication to truth-telling, education, and community empowerment. His writing blends memoir, history, and commentary, exposing the systems that criminalize Black and poor communities while offering lessons in resilience, knowledge, and self-determination. Through books, public speaking, and mentorship, Prince amplifies silenced voices, equips the next generation with tools for change, and inspires young people to rise above systemic barriers toward justice and opportunity.
